Vikram Divecha is participating in Our Collective Memory, organized by SF Projects at Haus Vischer Weber, Basel, Switzerland, from 16–21 June 2026 during Art Basel week. Set within the intimate context of a private residence designed by architects Vischer and Weber, the exhibition explores how personal narratives and shared experiences shape collective memory.
For the exhibition, Vikram presents A Train to Rouen (2017), an installation reflecting on time and systems. The work was created through a subtle intervention: delaying the departure of a train at Paris’ Gare Saint-Lazare by five minutes, transforming a small gesture into a meditation on time and its structures.
