In March 2020, as the world came to a standstill, Dongola Publishing decided to reach out to artists scattered in different cities through handmade, hand-stitched books created and designed in-house by Reza Abedini. The books were mailed to all the artists invited to speculate on our present and shared future through the creation of their own artists' books.
The artists' books are displayed at Villa Romana for a duration of 4 months, with every 4 weeks displaying 15 new artists.
