Hassan Sharif participates in Looking at the World Around You. Contemporary Works from Qatar Museums, which is held in collaboration with Madrid's Fundación Banco Santander.
The exhibition includes works that traverse nearly two centuries of artistic production across three continents. Conceiving of art as a way of looking at the world around you, of proposing a multitude of interpretations and ideas for changing perceptions, the exhibition is itself an invitation to look again and see anew; an invitation, in other words, to rethink the alignment of histories and how to make sense of the world today.
