Organised by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation, JAOU Tunis returns for its 5th edition to explore the cultural heritage in post-revolution Tunisia. The exhibition surveys the idea of 'approved heritage' through four elements: fire, air, water and earth. German-Iranian artist Haleh Redjaian creates spatial thread installations and murals for the exhibition Imaginary Museum, which takes French novelist André Malraux's writings as a starting point to question the notion of contemporary art in the Arab world.
