The Art of the Game — Bassim Al Shaker, Permanent Public Art Ball (Group Exhibition at Arts 14c)
A new public art initiative brings 23 artist-designed soccer ball sculptures to New York and New Jersey, celebrating the World Cup through contemporary art. Among the participating artists is Bassim Al Shaker, presenting his first public work within the permanent collection series of this project. The initiative, The Art of the Game, is a curated group exhibition organized by Arts 14c that explores the intersections of sport, public space, and contemporary artistic practice. Through diverse international contributions, the project reflects on how game structures and shared cultural symbols can be reinterpreted through sculpture and public intervention.
