The lemons, as mentioned, are elements of popular poetry and play a role of troubling, of disturbing with their vibrancy. They also embody heat, and sun, under which these representations unfold.

Here again, we see a picture of a picture: these figures are shredded, and the images are spliced back into the picture.

The tail, too, is a picture of the painting of the tail that extends the tail itself. So these media overlap and confound each other. An element is externalized, and then folds back into itself.
