This work on canvas was integrated into the larger installation 'Between Each Sky' at the Islamic Biennale, Jeddah 2025. Consisting of a large drawing made directly on the walls and animated projections that create an immersive space between the spiritual and the geological, evoking sentiments of ascension and continuous transformation. The installationalso featured seven loaned columns from Mecca, not only as symbols of elevation, but also resonating with the important number seven, mentioned frequently in the Qur’an: “‘He is the One’ Who created seven heavens, one above the other.” (Surah Al-Mulk, 3).
